Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today left for New Delhi. Mufti took over one month to finally knock at the Delhi’s door to calm down angers in Kashmir.
She is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Sources said the All Party Meeting is likely to discuss the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Mehbooba’s visit to Delhi holds much importance as takes place just a day before parliament and all party meeting is to be held to discuss the prevailing situation Kashmir situation.
Meanwhile, former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah took to twitter saying: “HM, RM, NSA & MoS PMO in the meeting. Sounds like the J&K CM has been summoned for a full fledged intervention,” he tweeted.
He tweeted: “The amazing thing is that it’s taken 31 days & more than 50 deaths to finally “disturb” the Chief Minister.”
“So @MehboobaMufti has finally given up on her “business as usual” act & rushed to Delhi instead,” reads his another tweet. (PTK)
