Al-Umar Mujahideen asks people to observe Aug 15 as ‘Black Day’

Srinagar: Chief Commander of militant outfit Al-Umar Mujahideen Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar has called for a complete shutdown on August 15 and observing the day as “black day.” He appealed people to celebrate August 14 (Pakistan’s Independence Day) with pomp and show.

In a telephonic statement to news agency CNS, Zargar said that India has snatched freedom from Kashmiris, “So the people should observe complete shutdown on August 15 and celebrate the day as black day.” He asked people to shut all business establishments on the day and ply no traffic on roads but hospitals buses.

Zargar added that the lasting solution of Kashmir issue was possible only under the UN resolutions. He said the UN resolutions declare Kashmir as a disputed territory and justify Kashmiris freedom struggle.
