Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Wing President, Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra has urged the youth of Anantnag constituency to vote for Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti in June 22 polls to chalk out the future course of action not only for Anantnag but the whole State as well.
Addressing a series of election meetings in Anantnag, Parra said the youth of Anantnag constituency have got an opportunity to restore the glory of this historic town by giving their mandate to the Chief Minister, who is working tirelessly to change the destiny of the State and its people.
Parra said the new institutions coming up in South Kashmir including Islamic University of Science and Technology, AIIMS, Medical College at Dialgam and other developmental initiatives including roads, water supply etc have changed the developmental profile of this area and generated new economic activity. “Unfortunately, this area had remained neglected over the past 40 years ob NC rule,” her said and added that to keep the momentun of these developmental initiatives on, the emancipated young voters of Anantnag should come out enmasse to elect Mehbooba Mufti as their new leader, to channelize their aspirations.
Seeking people’s cooperation in pulling J&K out of the morass and creating better avenues for its emancipated youth, Parra said Mehbooba Mufti is working decisively and determinedly for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and “if she wins in her endeavor it will be the people’s win.”
“I am sure the bright young generation of voters in Anantnag constituency would entrust her with their support to strengthen Mehbooba Mufti’s resolve to take to the logical conclusion her mission of ending the miseries of the people and brining prosperity in their lives through path-breaking developmental and welfare initiatives,” he said.
