Srinagar: Doctors’ Association Kashmir (DAK) Friday said that it will support National Health Mission (NHM) in all its demands which they have put forward to the government.
“An emergency meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr G M Mir, President Doctors Association Kashmir on Friday. It was unanimously decided that DAK will support National Health Mission (NHM) in all its demands which they have put forward to the government. Regularising NHM employees is a burning issue and Govt. should take sincere steps in addressing this grave issue as early as possible,” spokesperson of the amalgam said in a statement.
“Govt. has been showing step motherly treatment towards them and on the contrary the employees of NHM are backbone of the health department and are working with utmost dedication,” the statement read.
DAK stressed the government to frame a Regularisation Policy the way it has been done for SRO-255 recruited employees, Rehbar-e-Zirat Technocrats and other state recruited contractual employees.
