8 medical shops closed for violating norms in Budgam

Budgam: Eight medical shops were closed on Wednesday in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district after authorities conducted a drive in the area on Wednesday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the surprise drive was conducted by Drug Controller officer Magam/Beerwah along with his team to check the documents of medical shop owners.

“During inspection, five medical shops were found without drug licences and were closed in Magam Budgam, and three medical shops were closed in Narbal,” said DCO Magam Peerzada Tasaduq Hussain.

He said that such inspections will continue in future and strict action will be taken against the medical shop owners, who are found violating the norms—(KNO)
