Army fires in air after coming under heavy stone pelting in Pulwama

Pulwama: Army resorted to aerial firing after they came under stone pelting while returning after conducting search operations in Pulwama village on Tuesday.

Locals told KNO that earlier government forces had launched cordon and search operations on Gundipora village of Pulwama and as it ended peacefully forces left the area.

“The army vehicles came under heavy stone pelting at Pahoo chowk and they resorted to aerial firing to disperse the youth,” locals said.(KNO)
