BJP’s Gupta asks Farooq Abdullah to clear if NC’s stand is Pakistan Zindabad

Srinagar: Former deputy chief minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta said that Farooq Abdullah should clear the stand of National conference, if the NC stand is Pakistan Zindabad.

While speaking to News Agency Press Trust of Kashmir Gupta said “Abdullah should clear stand of NC, if the party stand is Pakistan Zindabad. He should clear it. If not then Farooq Abdullah should apologize”.

He added, “We request Election commission must take action against this statement of Akbar Lone. He should be punished.

He added that NC, PDP and congress should clear its stand now and Farooq Abdullah should apologize as soon as possible, adding that his party IT cell will approach the Election Commission urging them to nullify his candidature.

Earlier Akbar Lone said “Mera paar wala wo musalmaan mulk (Pak) hai, wo abaad rahay, vo kamyaab rahe, hamari aur unki dosti badhe, Pak aur Hindustan ki dosti aapas mein rahe, uss dosti ka mai aashiq hun…Agar unko koi ek gali dega mai unko yahan se das galiyan de dunga.(The nation across is a Muslim nation.

“In the Assembly, the RSS (BJP) was saying Pakistan Murdabad, Pakistan Murdabad; I replied back Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad. I was not afraid. When I came out, I was asked by the media persons, did you say Pakistan Zindabad and I told them that yet I said it and said it deliberately”, said Lone while addressing a rally.

He added Pakistan should prosper and progress. Our (India-Pakistan) friendship should remain intact. If someone abuses Pakistan once, I will abuse that person 10 times,” said the Parliamentary candidate of National Conference for North Kashmir’s Baramulla constituency. (PTK)
