Five injured in road accidents

Srinagar: Five persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley.

In Sopore, an Alto 800 bearing chassis number 19A3EUA-61500903836 driven by Talib Ahmad Khan resident of Boniyar Uri hit a motorcycle driven by Irfan Ahmed Dar resident of Keema Bandipora at National Highway Hygam crossing, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion mate Aatif Nazir Dar resident of Batpora Pattan. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kupwara, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK01/8067 driven by Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh resident of Trehgam hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Rasool resident of Tikker at Tikker. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.

In Budgam, a Tanker bearing registration number JK16/3211 hit and injured a person Abdul Ahad Bhat resident of Nowpora on Srinagar-Gulmarg road at Kawoosa Khalisa in the jurisdiction of Police Station Magam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ganderbal, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a person Abdul Rashid Bhat resident of Repora Lar at Lar Bypass. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.
