Islamabad Polls End with 33.84% Voter Turnout

Islamabad: A total of 33.84 percent of voters cast their vote on Wednesday in Islamabad segment.

The Islamabad assembly segment went to polls today after it fell vacant with the demise of former CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

The assembly segment has a total 84,081 eligible voters and only 29084 voters cast their votes today.

It comprised of 15384 males, 3084 females and 368 migrant votes.

The poling duty staff has started reporting at the Government Degree college for Boys at Khanabal where the election strong room has been set.
The total number of polling booths were 102.
