Day 28: Two civilians killed in Budgam, toll reaches 58

Srinagar: While there is no let up in the protests across Kashmir, two more youths have been killed in central Kashmir’s Budgam district today taking the overall toll of the civilian casualties to 58.

On Friday, a 29-year-old boy of Beerwah area of Budgam district was brought dead to SMHS hospital on Friday evening. He was injured in clashes between protestors and government forces Friday evening.

Another civilian identified as Mohammad Maqbool Wagay was killed during the clashes between protesters and government forces in Chadoora.

Local sources said that massive clashes erupted in central Kashmir’s Chadoora area resulting in the injuries to more than 25 civilians. (PTK)
