LeT praises pro freedom leader, people for refusing to meet APD

Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Sunday praised separatist leadership and people of Kashmir for refusing to meet All Party Delegation, which reached valley today.

As per emailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoted the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying “with separatists and people refusing to meet AP Delegation, they have conveyed a clear message to world community that the people of Kashmir are only demanding freedom and won’t talk anything else.” Shah, according to the statement, said “the Right to Self-Determinations the birth right of Kashmiris.”

He said “using bullets, pellets, tear gas shells and other weapons to foil the protest rallies in Anantnag, Shopian, Kupwara, Kulgam and other districts is an open example of Indian terrorism.”

Let chief said “at a time when the All Party Delegation reached the Valley, the innocent people of Kashmir were maimed by the forces.” He appealed International Human Rights to look into the issue. Shah as per statement later paid tributes to the slain youth who were killed during the clashes and also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured youth. (KNS)
