Srinagar: Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi, on Monday said the visiting All-party delegation of India got a clear and unanimous message from the Valley that there will be no talks until India accepts JK as a disputed territory.

“The people of Kashmir, its leadership, employees, patients in hospital, traders, and civil society sent a clear and a unanimous message to the All-party delegation that there will be no talks until JK’s disputed nature isn’t acknowledged by India,” Aasiya said in a statement issued to GNS.

She said people of JK have made it clear to the world there was no difference of opinion or thought when it came to opposing Indian “sinister” policies in Kashmir. “There is only one voice saying that Kashmir has been illegally occupied by India from the past 70 years. So acknowledging JK as disputed territory will be a first step towards resolving this dispute,” she said.

Aasiya termed it funny that “a regime that has killed lakhs of our children and maimed countless, innocents, was talking about humanity”. “People who have been massacring humanity across JK from the past seven decades are talking about humanity. Don’t give us lectures on humanity. We are Muslims and Muslims respect humanity more than anyone else,” she said.

“We are not fighting for sustaining the propaganda called ‘Kashmiriyat’. This movement isn’t there to defend these vague terms like Kashmiriyat but for safeguarding the dignity of lakhs of Kashmiris who want nothing but end to the illegal occupation,” she added.

“The oppressed Kashmiri nation and its leadership have clearly stated that they will talk to oppressors only when the oppressors accept the fact that they have illegally occupied Kashmir. It is funny that a person like Rajnath Singh talks about humanity on one side and on the other, he is talking about replacing the pellet guns,(which blinded thousands of Kashmiris) by the Pava gun, which is considered more lethal than the pellets and on whom will it be used-the innocent children of Kashmir. So lectures on humanity from this man are nothing but laughable comments,” the DeM chief said.

She said that the visit of the delegation proved to be one of the deadliest and bloodiest in the ongoing resistance movement in Kashmir. “More than 1500 persons were injured critically. On one hand, India is using brute force against innocent, unarmed civilians and on the other hand, its shameless minister is giving lectures about humanity. Shamelessness has a limit. Isn’t this man ashamed of what his forces are doing here and what he is saying? Where does their humanity go when they murder Kashmiris in cold blood every other day,” she said, adding, “This is a rule of beasts who don’t even have an iota of an idea about what humanity is.”

Responding to the statement by Rajnath Singh that ‘India won’t compromise on Kashmir’, Aasiya said Kashmiris also say it unanimously that there will be no compromise on Kashmir issue. “From past two months, 73 people have been killed, thousands injured; everyone is suffering but this fight and resistance movement will continue until Kashmiris achieve their right to determine their future,” she said.

She said that world has seen the dedication and consciousness of the people of Kashmir who are ready to continue the resistance movement at all costs. “The whole Kashmiri nation is with this movement and in one voice are asking India to leave JK,” she said.

“People from Pir Panjal and Chenab valley have clearly stated that they stand with Kashmir and want to stay with it forever. The occupier must understand that oppressing people won’t serve them for long and they should shun arrogance and should accept JK as disputed territory,” she said.

Andrabi urged the people of JK to completely boycott the pro-India politicians. “This is the time we must completely boycott these people who live between us but harm every cause that we stand for. Time has come that we completely boycott these puppets. These people are collaborators of occupiers and oppressors, so we must take the pledge that we will not allow these puppets live among us. We must throw them out of our localities,” she said.

“It is because of these collaborators from NC, PDP, Congress, and BJP that India is still here. So it is high time we take a tough stand against them,” she added.

She also asked people to hold special prayers to seek Allah Almighty’s help and blessings “so that this ongoing resistance movement reaches its logical conclusion”. “We know that we are up against the world’s biggest oppressor but we must remember that Allah SWT is the Greatest of all and with His help, we will surely force India to accept our rightful demands,” Aasiya added.
