Srinagar: Scooty rider died on the spot after hit by a vehicle at Chanapora in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday afternoon.
An official told The Kashmir Scroll that a scooty-rider was hit by a speedy Truck at Chanapora resulting in his on the spot death.
The deceased has been identified as Javaid Ahmad Mir son of Gh Nabi Mir resident of Goujwara Srinagar.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations were taken up,” the officer said. (KS)
