Three army soldiers injured in landmine blast near LoC

Srinagar: Three soldiers were injured in a landmine blast at Keran sector of Kupwara district in north Kashmir on Sunday evening.

Official sources told news agency Global News Service (GNS) that troops of 16 Madras were conducting routine patrolling at Khwaja Bailkh post in Keran during which foot of one of the soldiers fell accidently on a landmine which resulted in an explosion and left three troopers injured with splinters.

The injured troopers who have been identified as Sepoy Bala Subramani, Sepoy Kundu Mahesh and Sepoy HB Swami were rushed to Military Hospital Drugmulla where they are undergoing treatment, sources added.(GNS)
