We will live together, die together: Yasin Malik

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Yasin Malik on Friday took out a protest against Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed after the latter proposed segregated colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in the state.

“We do not live in separate colonies. Our tradition dictates that we live together and refuse to go into colonies. We will live together and die together,” Malik told the media.

Meanwhile, a clash broke out between JKLF supporters and the state police.

On Thursday, Mufti said he will take all the stake holders in confidence before accepting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s request of creating separate zones for Kashmiri Pandits in the state.

His statement came after he had earlier in the week assured Rajnath Singh that his government has accepted the demand for creating separate zones for Kashmiri Pandits in the state. (ANI)
