Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education (BOSE) today announced 50 per cent relaxation in syllabus for all students appearing in the forthcoming examination of classes 10 th and 12th .
The examinations are set to be from the next week of November.
Chairman BOSE Zahoor Ahmad Chatt said this while addressing a press conference at its head office at Bemina.
However, students didn’t seem happy even with the curtailment in the syllabus. Several students told PTK that they have only completed 35 percent of syllabus so they are not in a position to write examination.
“We are not fully prepared for the exams. The government should understand our problems instead of making it an ego issue for mere political reasons,” said a student. (PTK)
